The 33rd Pedagogical Committee Meeting: 4th and 5th of February 2026
The first Pedagogical Committee (PC) was held on the 4th and 5th of February at the Military College, in Paris.
The meeting was opened by Lieutenant General Hervé de Courrèges, commander of the Directorate of Higher Military Education (DEMS), and chaired by Major General Vincent de Kytspotter. It was the first activity of the 5+5 Defence Initiative organised by the French presidency and was attended by all ten delegations.
The PC meeting provided a valuable opportunity for exchanges between the member countries. The schedule of activities of the 5+5 College for the next four years was updated and two study topics for the 2029–2030 cycle were selected. These will be submitted at the next steering committee meeting.
