The 5+5 Defence Humanitarian Demining Training Center is a Libyan project started about three years ago, although the first meeting of experts only occurred in July 2010.​// Delegation Libya Visits International Demining Center The last 5th of July 2013, a delegation of five Libyan military technical specialists EOD and the area of education, realized a visit to International Demining Center of the Army, located in the Engineers' Academy, placed in Hoyo de Manzanares, Madrid. The purpose of the visit was to receive information about the organization of the Center, the working staff that consists, required training for teachers, training courses and materials needed for the implementation of a similar center features. The visit was attended by the chief of the International Demining Center, Coronel Rafael Jimenez Sanchez, and his team, whom across theoretical and practical presentations, met the delegation requirements, showing the training activities and the materials used by the center.
