16th   pedagogical committee of 5+5 defense initiative gathering the 10 occidental Mediterranean countries (Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Malta, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France) held in Paris, at the military school.

The representatives of ten state members were able to check in the training programs led by the college for the benefit of the officers from the 5+5 initiative countries which already allowed the achievement of 73 sessions since 2008.they also prepared the agenda of the future training (10 per year) were extended till 2021.

Throughout the works of the pedagogical committee it is a detailed dialogue, particularly, constructive and sustainable. Those sessions allowed besides a better mutual knowledge, deepen the interoperability between the two armies, an ability to work together facing humanitarian crises and therefore to enhance the mutual security around the accidental Mediterranean basin.
